Developed through a collaboration between the Department of Energy (DOE), Clark Development Corporation, and PMPC Renewables Corporation, this 80kW charging station is a major step toward promoting sustainable transport solutions in the region.
A Convenient and Powerful Charging Option
Whether you’re attending a seminar at HSD or just passing through the Clark area, this station offers fast and reliable charging for a variety of EV models. It’s equipped with three plug types—CCS2, CHAdeMO, and GBT—ensuring compatibility with most electric vehicles on the market today.
The charging process is simple and user-friendly, using an RFID card system for secure activation and deactivation. Instructions are clearly displayed on-site to guide first-time users through every step.
How to Charge Using RFID:
- Choose your plug – Pick the right connector for your EV: GBT, CHAdeMO, or CCS2.
- Plug it in – Insert the selected plug securely into your car’s charging port.
- Tap your RFID card – Start charging by tapping your card on the reader.
- Monitor charging – The station will display real-time status; LED indicators show charging progress.
- Stop charging – Tap your RFID card again to stop the session.
- Return the plug – Carefully hang the charging cable back on the holder.

General Rules for Using the EV Charger:
- For EVs only – Parking slots are exclusively for charging EVs.
- Free up the space – Once charging is complete, kindly move your vehicle to let others use the station.
- Safety first – Do not tamper with cables, avoid wet surfaces, and steer clear of flammable materials during charging.
- Report issues – If there’s a malfunction, unplug and report it immediately.
- Tidy up – Always return the cable to its holder after use.
- Your responsibility – Users are responsible for keeping the charger and site in good condition.
- Monitored for safety – The site is under CCTV surveillance. Vandalism or misuse may result in penalties or legal action.
